1. About the Academy
Ulum Al Quran Islamic Academy provides online Quran, Arabic, Tajweed, and Islamic Studies classes for students and families through live online instruction.
2. Educational Approach
Ulum Al Quran Islamic Academy follows the educational approach traditionally followed at Al-Azhar Al-Sharif in teaching the Quran, Tajweed, Arabic, and Islamic Studies. The academy does not provide instruction based on methodologies that contradict its educational approach.
The selection of courses, curricula, books, and learning materials is determined by the academy according to the student's level, goals, and educational needs. The preferences and opinions of the student or parent may be taken into consideration whenever possible; however, final decisions regarding the curriculum, teaching methods, and learning plan remain at the sole discretion of the academy.

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our website or services.
4. Free Trial Sessions
We may offer a free trial session to help assess the student’s level, understand the learning goals, and recommend a suitable course, teacher, and schedule.
- The free trial is intended for genuine students and families interested in learning.
- Trial availability may depend on teacher schedules and time zones.
- Submitting a trial request does not guarantee a specific teacher or class time.
- We may contact you by email or WhatsApp to arrange the trial session.
5. Student Information
You agree to provide accurate information when submitting a booking request, including the student’s name, age range, contact details, course interest, and preferred schedule.
6. Students Under 18
If the student is under 18, the booking request should be submitted by a parent or guardian, or with the permission of a parent or guardian.
Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising the student’s participation in online lessons where appropriate.
7. Online Classes
Classes are delivered online through live instruction. Students are responsible for having a suitable device, stable internet connection, microphone, and any required learning materials.
The academy is not responsible for technical issues caused by the student’s device, internet connection, or third-party platforms.
8. Scheduling and Attendance
Class schedules are arranged based on teacher availability, student availability, course requirements, and time zone differences.
Students are expected to attend classes on time.
Students may reschedule a class by notifying the academy at least three (3) hours before the scheduled lesson time. Classes cancelled less than three hours before the lesson are considered missed classes and are generally not eligible for rescheduling or compensation. Exceptions may be granted in cases of genuine emergencies, solely at the discretion of the teacher and the academy.
Requests made after the scheduled class time has started are not eligible for make-up classes or compensation, regardless of the reason for absence.
Repeated lateness or absences may affect the student's progress and future scheduling availability.
If a teacher is unable to attend a scheduled class, the academy may provide a substitute teacher or arrange a make-up lesson at no additional cost.
9. Payments and Tuition
Tuition fees, plans, and payment methods may be displayed on our website or shared by our team. Current plans may include monthly billing options, weekly study plans, and family discounts.
Tuition fees are payable in advance at the beginning of each monthly study period unless otherwise agreed with the academy.
Students are expected to complete payment on time to maintain their class schedule. The academy reserves the right to pause or discontinue classes in the event of delayed or unpaid tuition fees.
Payment details, cancellations, and class packages may be confirmed separately before enrollment.
The academy reserves the right to modify tuition fees and pricing plans at any time. Changes will not affect already paid billing periods.
10. Family Discounts
Family discounts may be available for multiple students from the same family. Discount eligibility, percentage, and application may depend on the number of students, selected plan, and current academy policy.
11. Refunds and Cancellations
Students may discontinue their classes at any time by notifying the academy.
Monthly tuition fees and other payments already made are generally non-refundable. Any exception or refund request shall be reviewed individually and granted solely at the discretion of the academy.
If the academy is unable to continue providing classes, it may offer make-up classes, account credit, or a refund for unused lessons, at its discretion.
12. Teacher Assignment
We try to match students with suitable teachers based on level, course, preferred teacher type, availability, language needs, and learning goals.
Requests for a male or female teacher may be considered, but they are subject to availability.
13. Learning Results
We aim to provide high-quality teaching and structured support. However, learning progress depends on the student’s attendance, effort, consistency, practice, and individual ability.
We do not guarantee a specific result, memorization amount, fluency level, or completion time.
14. Student Conduct
Students and parents are expected to communicate respectfully with teachers and staff.
The academy reserves the right to suspend or terminate services in cases of disrespectful behavior, misuse, harassment, repeated non-attendance, failure to meet payment obligations, fraudulent chargebacks, or violation of these Terms.
